The manual needle felting puncher is a tool designed to make the needle felting process faster and more uniform through a system of multiple needles mounted on a pen mechanism. Its ergonomic shape allows a natural grip and precise control of the gesture, transforming the vertical movement of the needles into a smooth, repetitive action.
Unlike the use of a single needle, the needle felting tool allows simultaneous work with multiple needles, increasing the efficiency of fiber compaction and reducing processing time. The principle is still the same as that of needle felting: the micro-barbs on the needles hook the wool fibers and progressively weave them together, but the simultaneous action multiplies the number of contact points in each individual press.
This makes it particularly useful for the basic stages of work, where large areas need to be compacted quickly, then leaving the task of definition and detailing to the individual needles.
