Pure silk tulle is now in the collection! By the metre or in ribbons, as it’s really important to us to satisfy all our customers’ needs. At the moment there are four colours in the collection that will surely become more over time.

Tulle is an amazing material. It can be worked in loads of different ways. Ethereal, versatile and iconic, it charms everyone. Simple and even though it looks delicate it’s actually remarkably strong. Its wide netting makes it flexible and therefore suitable for nuno felting, clothing, embroidery and furnishing. The tulle ribbons are ideal for gorgeous gift wrapping, favours and bouquets.

We just had to have a pure silk tulle because we want to please even the most sophisticated among us and also because most of our customers are textile artists who are always on the look out for high quality products for their works. A confident choice that started off with other fabrics such as pure wool gauze and etamine. We like to offer high-quality and long-lasting products.

This pure silk tulle has been dyed in our dyeing house and is Oeko-Tex certified, another added value of the product. This means that our tulle is free of harmful dyestuff, heavy metals and carcinogenics. It’s a fabric that’s not harmful to us nor the environment.

We’re sure you’re going to love this product. To let you see how eclectic it is its we’ve decided to let various makers work with it. First up is Francesca Perinetti that has worked it with the nuno felting technique obtaining a ruffled and light texture. The second is Fabrique – a design studio – that has created a piece of clothing, that is a mermaid box top which is easy to make and to wear too!
