How to knit the bee stitch

The knit stitch we are going to learn today is called bee stitch. We named it this because of the final structure which resembles a battalion of worker bees in their hexagonal cells, all incredibly alike and intent on producing honey.

Did you know that every bee community has its own unmistakable smell? This functions to protect the hive from any external threats.

Let’s start knitting this stitch, perfect for a crop sweater. The yarn selected is our Piuma in pure extra fine merino wool, in the in the colour Lily of the Valley. On the shop, however, you can find more than 50 colour variations, both plain and printed. Have fun and take your time choosing your favourites.
