Description
Rain or Shine is a 4-ply yarn made from super soft extra fine merino wool, superwash treated. It’s smooth, compact, easy to work with, and glides effortlessly, making it an ideal choice for beginners.
As the name suggests this yarn is ideal for any season.What’s more, it is warm and pleasant to the touch, but extremely light.
If that wasn't enough, its structure is perfect for many different types of projects: hats, gloves, collars, children's clothing, and blankets, just to give a few examples!
Techniques
Rain or Shine can be used with medium-sized knitting needles or crochet hooks and is also great for weaving (both warp and weft), tufting, and punch needle projects.
Tips
With knitting needles: it's perfect for stockinette stitch and also works well with lace or textured patterns. It's highly recommended for cables and Aran-style motifs.
With crochet: single crochet is perfect but you can easily work with any stitch. This yarn is also excellent for creating ribbon-like motifs on the surface of lacework made with other yarns.
