Hi, the compilation of knit stitches continues! Today, we’re going to try our hand at the Hills stitch. It’s a cute name, don’t you think? We’ve taken the name from the Italian stitch ‘Collinette’. It’s an hills stitch that’s ideal for little girls’ dresses or even a shawl to wrap around your shoulders, on a chilly evening after dinner.
For the hills stitch, we’ve chosen a 100% cotton tape, the Sailorman yarn. There are loads of colours in the collection but as the summer holidays are just around the corner, we can’t stop thinking about the sea, so we went for the colour Cobalt. Take a dive into the deep blue sea!
