How to crochet the field of wheat stitch

Do you become excited when you see a vast field of ripe wheat; A sea of golden wheat ears rising and falling under the hot sun? If so, then you're going to adore today's stitch: the field of wheat stitch. The stitch is partially openwork and can be used for both a sweater or for creating an insert.

The yarn selected for this project is Cleopatra in linen and cotton, in the colour Citron. for us this is the perfect combination.

Start with the part before the first *, repeat from * to * for the entire line and finish with the part after the second*.
