When is the right time to think about the first crocheted summer jumper? Today of course, with our free pattern. The yarn chosen is Cleopatra in cotton and linen. The stitch is a beautiful openwork stitch and has a feature that is loved the world over and in any era: puffed sleeves. Wear it to your next barbecue, you’re sure to make a great impression. The size is slightly oversized, this allows you to wear the summer jumper with both wider and skinny trousers, or with shorts or a long skirt.

Start working the sleeve hole by decreasing 1 motif on each side.
At 32 cm / 12.6" close the job.
Do the same for the second sleeve as well.

Close your shoulders and sides.
Pick up the stitches around the neckline and work the relief rib for 3 cm / 1.2".
Pick up the stitches around the base, working 2 double crochets in each arch and continue with the relief rib for 4 cm / 1.6".

Pick up the bottom stitches as for the body and work twisted rib for 3 cm / 1.2".
