The knit stitch we’re going to learn today is the Twist stitch. One of the most traditional ones that you can make sweaters for both the young and old with or even super snuggly scarves. The yarn chosen is our Sierra that has a high percentage of baby alpaca. Super warm and soft to the touch, it’s one of our finest yarns. Let’s get started.

MATERIALS
Sierra yarn col. Wisteria 100 g / 3.5 oz
Knitting needle n° 8 EU / 11 US
DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Easy
METHOD
It’s done on a number of stitches in multiples of 7+1.
Row 1 and 3: *purl 1, knit 6*, always repeat from * to *, purl 1 to finish off
row 2 and all the even rows: work the stitches as they appear
row 5: *purl 1, knit 6 left cross stitches (keep 3 stitches hanging on the front, knit 3, knit up the hanging stitches)*, purl 1
row 7: repeat from row 1.

In the even rows not shown on the chart, work the stitches as they appear: knit on the knitted and purl on the purled.
Repeat from * to * for all the row and finish off with the stitch that comes after the second asterisk.
