How to knit a top with bows

Looking for an easy and quick top to knit? Soft, cotton, and in a bright neon color? Here it is. Just follow this pattern carefully and use the Nuvola yarn. METHOD

The top is knitted flat and consists of two pieces, the back and the front, which are sewn together at the sides at the end. The straps are fastened over the shoulders.

How to knit the back of the top

Using knitting needles n° 4 EU / 6 US, cast on 75 (83, 91) stitches.

Row 1: Repeat (1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch) until the last stitch, knit the last stitch
row 2: Purl the first stitch, repeat (1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch) until the end of the row.

Rows 1 and 2 establish a 1/1 ribbing for the bottom edge. Repeat them for 2 more times, reaching row 6, which is 2 cm / 0.8". Continue in stockinette stitch for 54 (56, 58) rows, reaching row 60 (62, 64), which is 25 (26, 27) cm / 9.8" (10.2", 10.6"). The instructions continue separately for the different sizes.

Close the sides. With crochet hook n° 4 EU / G-6 US, finish the back neckline with 1 row of single crochet, starting at the base of one shoulder strap and ending at the base of the other: as for the armholes, do not finish the sides of the shoulder strap fastening. Cut and secure the yarn. Finish the front neckline the same way. Tie the shoulder straps in a bow to fasten them.
