Today we are going to learn how to make a crochet keffiyeh. Extremely light, openwork, and with two really cute tassels. It is truly beautiful and can add a special touch to any simple outfit. We think it’s simply perfect over a pair of jeans and a white T-shirt. All eyes are on the keffiyeh!
You can only get an amazing keffiyeh like this using the selected yarns: Lagom, which has a high percentage of recycled wool and a very interesting mixture of colours, and Fluffy which is made of silk and mohair and therefore weightless and warm. MATERIALS
Lagom yarn col. Ocean
Fluffy yarn col. Hydrangea and Hush
Crochet hook n° 4.5 EU / 7 EU
CROCHET STITCHES USED
Double treble crochet:
wrap the yarn twice around the hook and pull the yarn through the stitch, leaving 4 loops on the hook. Wrap the yarn around the hook once more and pass the yarn through the first 2 loops only. Repeat once more through 2 loops. Wrap the yarn around the hook one last time and pull it through the last 2 loops.

PROCEDURE
Match yarn X with 2 strands of yarn Y.
Cast on 8 chains and work a double crochet.
Row 2: chain 9, 1 double treble crochet aiming at the double treble crochet of the previous row, make a second double treble crochet aiming at the fourth chain stitch of the previous row, chain 4, 1 double treble crochet at the base of the same double treble crochet
row 3: chain 9, 1 double treble crochet on the double treble crochet of the previous row, 1 double treble crochet, chain 4, continue following the diagram.
Work the diagram for 40 rows.
Make three tassels and attach them to the three corners of the keffiyeh.
The keffiyeh is now ready to be worn.
