Let's Start!

METHOD

  • Cut your fabric into strips. You’ll need a few, depending on the size of your styrofoam ball.

  • Use a model to determine the size of your single hydrangea flower and fold the strip over upon itself accordingly.

  • Cut along the shape of the model.

  • To obtain your single hydrangea flowers!

  • Cut the styrofoam ball in two halves, you’ll need one per single hydrangea. Smooth the edges with a knife or cutter.

  • Start pinning your single flowers onto the styrofoam. Work on the bottom as well.

  • Until fully covered and fluffy!

  • Insert the gardening stick into the base of the styrofoam and cut the stem according to your desidered length.

  • Here’s your finished hydrangea! Our styrofoam ball measured 12cm in diameter and we used a total of 130 single flowers to cover it completely.
