Christmas is just around the corner! And every year, we brainstorm scenic, practical, and colourful ideas to make this holiday special and reflect our personal style.
For the 2024 edition, we decided to collaborate with Chiara Giagnoni, known as chiawok on Instagram. She’s a true Wonder Woman of crafting—and much more. She is full of incredible ideas, is a working mom of two (with another on the way!) and seems to have boundless energy. Her beautifully crafted cookies are almost too lovely to eat, she adores photography, cats, and knitting, and she always greets the world with a warm smile.
In short, we fell in love with her because she embodies the very essence of creativity and positivity!
Part of the fun also came from using our materials, specially designed to create the most diverse projects. This Christmas, we’ve chosen velvet ribbons, felt baubles, and yarn to bring our ideas to life.
Chiara showed us how easy it is to make bows with the help of a Bow Maker. If you do not wish to purchase one you can achieve the same result by attaching two sticks to the edge of a table and looping the ribbon into a figure-eight shape.
To craft velvet bows, Chiara selected our velvet ribbons, available in 2.3 cm and 1 cm widths. She then used simple hairpins to attach the bows to two multicolour wreaths. The result?
One wreath in a classic colour scheme and another with a more extravagant twist. The first is decorated halfway, while the second is brimming with bows. Which one do you prefer?
We can’t decide! But we can tell you that these wreaths are perfect for both your front door and as a centerpiece.
For those perfectionists who love not just giving gifts but also wrapping them beautifully, here are some ideas for unforgettable packaging. After all, a gorgeous package reflects the love poured into the gift itself and deserves special attention.
Felt ribbons, chiffon and crinkle silk ribbons, felt balls, and the sparkly Charleston yarn were used to tie up packages, create rosettes, and even craft minimalist Christmas tree designs with the help of some tape. The results? Simply stunning!
